At Northwest, we offer:
- A Dedicated Heart Hospital.
In addition to providing noninvasive testing, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, electrophysiology and cardiac rehabilitation, The Heart Hospital of Northwest Texas helps research the development of new heart disease treatments. Each year, Northwest's Emergency Department treats more than 57,000 patients with conditions ranging from broken bones to more serious health concerns, including strokes, heart attacks and motor vehicle traumas. The hospital's LIFESTAR helicopter transport, which is unique to the region, helps patients in emergency situations receive care as quickly as possible. - A Nationally Recognized Diabetes Program.
With diabetes on the rise in the United States, the need for coordinated diabetes management is growing steadily. Northwest's diabetes program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association for meeting national standards in diabetes education. Patients can access comprehensive screenings and tools to help manage this condition.
